SWITCH UP YOUR LIVING SPACE FOR SUMMER WITH THESE SUMMER STYLING TIPS
Spring is in full swing and as the days are getting warmer and brighter so are our homes. It’s great to make a few seasonal changes around to reflect this. The way we use our living space changes with the seasons. Where we wanted a warm cosy place to snuggle up in during winter, we now want an open and airy space to enjoy during summer. Here are our summer styling tips:
Move Things Around
If you are able to - a great way to open up space is to move around your furniture. This may involve swapping your sofa around with armchairs or even putting your coffee table to the side for summer so the room can feel more spacious.
Consider Light
The lighting of a room changes in summer, where you may have needed multiple lamps to get the perfect cozy glow – with it getting darker later this won’t be necessary. Also consider the light coming in, which parts of the room will the sun land on during the day and evening? If your TV is easy to move it may need adjusting to account for light reflection.
Looking to Refurbish?
As it is likely you will be using your living room less in the summer months as you may be spending more time outside or at social events, this makes summer the perfect time to refurbish. Looking for the perfect sofa for your brand new living room? Shop our collections here.

Swap out ornaments – if you’re a lover of ornaments you can swap out season-appropriate ornaments. Summer ornaments include vases for fresh flowers, things based on plants, bees or butterflies.
